I am Full Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Perugia, Italy

My main research interests concern Galois Geometries, their applications to Coding Theory and Cryptography, and their interactions with Algebraic Curves over Finite Fields.

I am currently teaching some mathematical courses in the degree programmes in Mathematics,  Computer Science, and Engineering.

I am currently the Director of the Dipartimento di Matematica e Informatica at University of Perugia.
